New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen have sold their luxury apartment in New York City, the New York Observer reports. The purchase price wasn't immediately known, but the asking price for the 48th floor One Madison home was $13.95 million. The couple purchased the 3,310-square foot, 6-room apartment back in 2014 and had previously listed it in 2016.
Bündchen and Brady first listed this apartment, which has sweeping NYC views, for $17.25 million, in 2016. The couple wasn’t able to find a buyer at that price, so earlier this year, they slashed the price on the condo to $13.95 million, and that seemed to do the trick. The couple had purchased the full-floor apartment back in 2014 for $11.7 million and “then hired Peter Marino — the flamboyant architect known as much for his leather ensembles as his deluxe designs — to customize it as only he can. The place has bronze double doors that open to a loft-like living, dining, and kitchen area, all with floor-to-ceiling windows affording spectacular views of the city, while the guest bedrooms have private bathrooms and the master suite has an attached bathroom whose walls are also full-length windows so you can see the skyline as you relax in a two-person soaking tub.”Tom Brady Jersey .
The new owner of their apartment can look forward to floor-to-ceiling windows, and 360 degree views of the city. Residents in the building also have access to amenities like an indoor pool, steam room, and fitness center.
Last year, Brady and Bündchen reportedly purchased a nearly $30 million home at the Robert A.M. Stern Architects-designed 70 Vestry, in Tribeca. Aside from that, the couple also owns homes in Massachusetts, Montana, and Costa Rica, according to the Observer.
